Meet our Music Instructors

We are fortunate to have Megan Abel and Leathan Milne as part of our teaching faculty at FACES. Their experience, talent, and passion for music education make them an invaluable part of our program.


  • Guitar | Ukulele | Piano | Voice

    Megan Abel is a skilled guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with a diploma in Contemporary Music and Technology from Selkirk College. She has performed across the province, released her own album, and continues to stay active in the local music scene through performance and education.

    Megan’s teaching approach blends creativity with structure, encouraging students to explore theory, rhythm, and technique in a relaxed and supportive environment. Her lessons are tailored to the individual, making music accessible and engaging for all ages and skill levels. We’re thrilled to have her on the FACES music faculty.


  • Guitar | Ukulele | Bass

    Leathan Milne has over 20 years of experience as a guitarist, instructor, and professional musician. He holds a diploma in music production and education from Stylus Music School in Vancouver, where he later joined the faculty.

    Leathan has toured North America, scored for film and television, and licensed his original songs for major media. His teaching style is highly individualized, welcoming all ages and genres.

    Now based in Salmon Arm, he’s excited to be part of the Shuswap arts community.
