New for the 2026–2027 Season!

We're excited to expand our music program from 10-week sessions to 13-week sessions, giving students more instructional time and greater continuity throughout the school year while maintaining affordable tuition of $350 per session.

Private Music Lessons

Private music lessons at FACES Performing Arts are taught by highly qualified and accomplished instructors in our dedicated music studio. Lessons are 30 minutes in length and are offered in two 13-week sessions throughout the school year.

Whether your child is learning an instrument for the first time or continuing to build their musical skills, our instructors provide individualized lessons in a supportive, encouraging, and engaging environment.

2026–2027 Music Sessions

Fall Session

13 Lessons • $350

Week of September 14, 2026 – Week of December 7, 2026

  • Wednesday and Thursday lesson times are currently available.

  • The lesson schedule is posted separately.

  • Students enrolled in the Wednesday session will receive one additional make-up lesson, which is included in the session to accommodate the statutory holiday.

Winter/Spring Session

13 Lessons • $350

Week of February 8, 2027 – Week of May 3, 2027

  • Wednesday and Thursday lesson times are available.

  • The lesson schedule is posted separately.

Additional music instructors and lesson times may be added throughout the season as registration grows.

Registration & Fees

  • Tuition: $350 per 13-week session

  • Registration Fee: $25 per student (charged once annually)

  • Arts Council for the South Shuswap Membership: $10 per student (charged once annually)

Session fees are due at the beginning of each session.

Families will register and make payments securely through the online Parent Portal.

Lesson Schedule & Makeup Lessons

Music lessons follow the School District 83 calendar.

When lessons are affected by statutory holidays or instructor availability, makeup lessons may be scheduled. Students enrolled in the Wednesday Fall Session will automatically receive one additional lesson to account for the statutory holiday.

Billing & Payment

To simplify billing, families will complete registration and submit payment through the online Parent Portal.

To complete registration, all families are required to securely save a valid credit card or bank account in their Parent Portal. This payment method will be used to process session tuition and any authorized fees. If you require an alternate payment arrangement, please contact the office prior to the start of your registered session.

Registration & Withdrawal Policy

Music lesson registration is by 13-week session.

Withdrawals must be requested before the second scheduled lesson of a session. After the second lesson, no refunds will be issued except in extenuating circumstances.
