Dance Tuition & Fees

New for the 2026–2027 Season!

We've simplified our tuition system to make dance education easier to understand and budget for. While our base tuition rates have not increased, we've introduced a new per-student multi-class discount model that makes pricing easier to understand and rewards dancers who explore multiple styles. Families can also enjoy the convenience of predictable monthly payments throughout the dance season.

Dance Tuition

At FACES Performing Arts, we believe dance should be accessible, affordable, and easy to budget for. Annual tuition is divided into nine equal monthly payments (September through May), providing families with consistent monthly tuition throughout the season.

This year we've introduced a per-student multi-class discount. Rather than calculating tuition by instructional hours alone, discounts are now based on the number of weekly dance classes each student is enrolled in. This makes registration easier to understand while encouraging dancers to explore a variety of dance styles, build confidence, and become well-rounded performers.

As a not-for-profit organization, our goal is to provide exceptional dance education while keeping quality arts programming accessible for families in our community.

Families may also choose to pay their annual tuition in full by September 1 and receive a 5% Pay-in-Full Discount. This option represents a full-season commitment. Please note that the tuition schedule below does not apply to private dance lessons.

Dance Tuition by Class Length

30-Minute Weekly Class

• Annual Tuition: $330

• Monthly Payment: $36.67

45-Minute Weekly Class

• Annual Tuition: $430

• Monthly Payment: $47.78

60-Minute Weekly Class

• Annual Tuition: $525

• Monthly Payment: $58.33

Please Note: Tuition is based on annual enrollment and divided into nine equal monthly payments for your convenience. Monthly payments remain the same regardless of holidays, studio closures, or the number of classes in a particular month.

Per-Student Multi-Class Discounts

We believe every dancer should have the opportunity to explore multiple styles. Our per-student multi-class tuition discounts make it more affordable for students to try new disciplines, build confidence, and become well-rounded performers.

Discounts are calculated per student based on the total number of weekly dance classes in which they are enrolled.

• 1 Class: Standard Tuition

• 2 Classes: Save 15%

• 3 Classes: Save 25%

• 4 Classes: Save 30%

• 5 or More Classes: Save 35%

Discounts are applied automatically to eligible dance tuition. Private dance lessons are not included in the multi-class discount program.

Additional Fees

The following annual fees help support the administration and delivery of our programs.

• Registration Fee: $25 per student (maximum of four registration fees per family).

• Arts Council for the South Shuswap Membership: $10 per student annually.

• Costume Rental Fee: $40 per class, per recital. We are working toward spreading costume rental fees throughout the season rather than collecting them all at recital time. More information will be shared during the season.

Bouncing Babies & Music Makers — Introductory Pricing

Both Bouncing Babies and Music Makers are offered as an 8-week session at a special introductory rate of $60 per session ($30 per month).

This introductory pricing is available for our first session of these new programs. A registration fee and Arts Council membership fee are additional.

Billing Schedule

To keep billing simple and predictable, all families follow the same payment schedule.

September 1 Billing

On September 1, all registered families will be charged:

• First month's tuition (September)

• Annual Registration Fee

• Annual Arts Council Membership Fee

Families registering after September 1 will be charged these fees at the time of registration.

Monthly Tuition Payments

• Tuition will be posted to your account on the 1st of each month.

• Auto-Payments will be processed on the 5th of each month.

• Tuition is collected over nine equal monthly payments from September through May.

Auto-Pay

To simplify billing and help families stay current with their accounts, all families are automatically enrolled in Auto-Pay. Auto-Pay is our preferred payment method and helps ensure tuition is processed securely and on time. If you require an alternate payment arrangement, please contact the office prior to your first scheduled payment.

Credit Card or Bank Account Information on File

To complete your registration, all families are required to securely save a valid credit card or bank account in their Parent Portal. This payment method will be used to process monthly tuition and any authorized fees in accordance with the billing schedule outlined above. Keeping a payment method on file helps make billing simple, secure, and convenient throughout the dance season. If you require an alternate payment arrangement, please contact the office prior to your first scheduled payment.

Registration & Withdrawal Policy

Dance registration is a full-season commitment, running from September through May.

Withdrawals are accepted until October 1 without penalty. After October 1, a fee equal to one month's tuition will be charged for any withdrawal.

Barring extenuating circumstances, no refunds will be issued after October 15 for September–May registrations.

If space permits, registration may reopen in January for a half-season program. For January–May registrations, no refunds will be issued after February 1.
